Open makerspace is your opportunity to try out a new artistic medium and work on your own personal project at the library.
Have an idea for a new project? Come and create using our library’s makerspace. Stop by and use the sewing machine, Cricut, Scan n Cut, Quilling tools, screen printing machines, pottery supplies, painting supplies, and computers. Spend time swapping ideas with fellow makers.
Use of the machines is free but disposable materials (ex: paper and glue) that can be found at a local craft store or Walmart will not be provided. Items that cannot be found at a local store (ex: earthenware clay, glazes, and screen printing inks) will be provided at cost.
Open makerspace is usually scheduled one weekday evening and one Friday afternoon a month. Please call the library for current dates and times.
Please call 724-226-3491 or email [email protected] if you have any questions.
